The application works with Android 4.1 or higher, weighs 43 MB on the system and does not contain advertising, and is distributed free of charge.

Who will win?

Avast Passwords looks better than Kaspersky Password Manager because it is not only free, but also functional enough for most users. The only sad thing is the high load on the processor (it would seem that there is nowhere for it to come from), and the need to synchronize only through the cloud, that is, you will have to indirectly share passwords with developers.

Rating: 4.8 on a five-point scale.

Results of consideration of password managers for Android OS

You can completely entrust your secrets to only one program - BlackBerry Password Keeper, since it is as open as possible for the user and as closed as possible for those outside the service. At the same time, no one forces you to leave passwords in the cloud; they can be saved in the gadget’s memory, and then manually synchronized with other devices. Note free license, convenient control and configuration, as well as innovations such as fingerprint login.

Second place, in principle, can be given to SafeInCloud and Keeper Security, but the first has all the advantages of its opponent, costs less, and backup perhaps not only to the cloud. The second one has a significant brand behind it, good technical support, not the most reasonable fee for the service, and also a strict connection to the branded service. You can trust these applications, but without fanaticism, because the fingerprint is still stored on the server.

Avast Passwords and Kaspersky Password Manager are solutions for fans of their respective antiviruses, but if the latter requires a fee and does not offer anything new, then its competitor looks more interesting, it is free and no less functional. And the management is generally beyond praise. However, it is better to trust them only social media, passwords from the garage and dating site. Times are dark now and it’s not worth shining a light on bank accounts on remote storage facilities.

1Password looks pale in comparison with its fellow countryman and is comparable to Kaspersky Password Manager, but the second one is still, albeit conditionally, domestic, so it tips the scales. If you are not a snowdenophile, you can take a closer look at the Canadian solution, since its functionality is richer than that of Avast Passwords, which is interesting in all respects.
