Of course, we are not talking about powerful and demanding projects, because the Snapdragon MSM8909 (4 x 1.3 GHz), Adreno 304 graphics and 1 GB of RAM can only handle undemanding projects. However, with a 10.1-inch HD display and a 7000 mAh battery, the Lenovo TAB 2 X30L is great for simple entertainment. In video reviews, this tablet is called an excellent choice for a child. At a price of 10 thousand rubles, it offers good functionality, good photographic capabilities for its price, and loud stereo speakers. It runs one of the best price-quality tablets on the market running Android 5.1.

The 2019 tablet rating opens with a model from a world-famous manufacturer of electronics and computer components. The Taiwanese have greatly succeeded in creating transformers that sell like hot cakes. But with Android tablets everything is much worse. They entered the market late, the devices were unclear, some kind of leapfrog with processors. ZenPad 3S is not bad, but the aftertaste is not very good.

It’s very sad that the “Chinese” does not have an LTE module, which only the “American” has. Perhaps some people will not need the SIM card slot, but this is an unpleasant fact.

There are no complaints about the FullHD display with proprietary Tru2Life technology and the SonicMaster 3.0 Hi-Res Audio speaker system. For its price range, the multimedia content turned out to be first-class. The battery is also good.

The main disadvantages, perhaps, include the lack of a fingerprint sensor, which would greatly simplify life. The placement of the speakers is also unfortunate, because blocking anything with your hand will be absolutely no problem. Ergonomics in general are not well thought out. It feels like the ZenPad 3S was created in a hurry.

Another device based on MT 8176 with 4 GB of RAM, but this time from a Chinese brand. And it is good for everyone, but it cannot be called a full-fledged novelty. Rather, it is a reworking of the infamous Mi Pad 2, which ran not only on Android, but also on Windows. At the same time, it slowed down on both OSes.

If you do not take into account the complete borrowing of the design from the Apple iPad, the tablet is really good, at least because it used an IPS display with 2K resolution and an excellent 6000 mAh battery with support for proprietary charging of its own design.

There are also no complaints about performance. The 6-core chipset from MediaTek in synthetic tests has results similar to the Snapdragon 820, although it loses in heavy games due to overheating. The Chinese have such a problem that they just can’t overcome it.

The sound is top notch. There are 2 loud speakers installed here, and their location is very good - you can’t cover it with your hand. A separate NXP Smart PA DAC was installed for them, which adds detail and significantly expands the stage. There is even some bass, and this is already an indicator.

The only downside worth noting is the lack of LTE and microSD, i.e. You won’t be able to use the device as a car navigator unless you have a mobile Wi-Fi modem at hand.

Huawei has been serious about leadership in the low-cost smartphone segment for several years now, but it hasn’t forgotten about tablets either. This model can be called one of the most successful in the manufacturer’s collection, if only because it is stable and works as quickly as possible even when loaded. Moreover, we are not talking about the Premium Edition with 64 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM, but about the standard configuration, which is much closer to the people.

The device surprises with its design and excellent ergonomics, as well as the presence of separate ports for a SIM card and microSD. For several years now, the public has been waiting for the same from Apple, but to no avail. Like most of the devices presented, the MediaPad M2 supports a stylus. And here it is even included, although only in the Premium version.

You can find fault with the performance of the HiSilicon Kirin 930 and the 6600 mAh battery, but this is pointless. But what really doesn’t suit me is the mediocre main optics, which the company has clearly forgotten about. Also disappointing is the far from the latest version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow and only 16 GB of memory in the standard version of the device.

The tablet is good, we don’t deny it, but not in terms of software. If the latest version of the OS is not important to you, then the model is really interesting.

The design is painfully familiar and familiar, as are the materials, build quality, ergonomics and low weight. They know how to do it well and without unnecessary bells and whistles. Yes, it’s visually boring, but you’ll still be looking strictly at the display and not the back.

Speaking of the screen. Once again, Apple does not change tradition, using an IPS matrix with Retina technology, which provides a pixel density of strictly 264 ppi. In this case, the diagonal is 7.9” with a resolution of 2048x1536.

There is no point in talking about the Apple A8 platform - it is stable, fast and energy efficient, even despite 2 cores. And 2 GB of RAM will definitely not be superfluous. Running the parade is the latest version of iOS 11.4, which is the latest version at the moment. In any case, you will update your device to the latest version.

Of the outright disadvantages, it is worth noting only the battery, which was cut from 6470 to 5124 mAh. Autonomy remained at the level of its predecessor, but why not make it bigger at the expense of the notorious thin body. Well, 16 GB of permanent memory is clearly not enough in 2019, and the tablet has never supported microSD.

No matter what the haters say, the iPad mini 4 is still one of the most popular tablets in the world, not only because it is Apple. This is simply a convenient, practical, reliable and quite powerful device for its price. It can be called the top among tablets in 2019 in terms of price/quality.

If you're a fan of ergonomics, convenience and, suddenly, projection films, then take a closer look at this beauty from Lenovo. Let's say right away that the guy is wayward, but his advantages outweigh the handful of shortcomings that the company has endowed with the tablet.

In terms of ergonomics, this is almost the best tablet of 2019. The thickening on the left side with a folding stand is the most convenient feature invented by designers and engineers. The projector only evokes enthusiastic emotions, because, in fact, it is a second display on which you can display the same film. In this case, the main screen remains fully functional.

How do you like the 10200 mAh battery? This is one of the highest figures in our rating, if you do not take into account the iPad Pro 12.9.

But Lenovo is Lenovo... Not the best Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor, 1 GB of RAM (only 2, but exactly half is available), poor optimization and frankly outdated Android 5.1.

So much for playing on contrasts. A cool feature with a projector is crushed by the harsh reality, whose name is Intel Atom. This is not to say that the device is completely unpromising, but the processor here is clearly unsuccessful, although not a failure. And therefore only 6th place.

And here is the first flagship among the most popular top tablets. Samsung was one of the first to occupy the smartphone niche, so they could afford any experiment with functionality, design or size. Instead, they focused on releasing powerful devices, one of which was the Galaxy Tab S3, built on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge platform, i.e. Snapdragon 820 with 4 GB RAM.

Traditionally for the company, the dimensions of the device are very modest despite the screen diagonal of 9.7”. It is also worth noting the perfectly calibrated SuperAMOLED matrix with support for the S Pen stylus, the AKG stereo system with 4 speakers and a wonderful 6000 battery. Not enough compared to the previous participant, but optimization makes its own adjustments. And the latest version of Android 8.0 is installed here, so there is no need to talk about a lack of autonomy.

The impression of the device is spoiled by not the best camera (the iPad mini 4 has a much better one), only 32 GB of internal memory and a very slippery case. And glass is not the most durable material for the back panel.

Samsung made an excellent, powerful tablet computer for graphic designers, but for some reason they skimped on the storage.

Now let’s introduce the main competitor from Apple. The device appeared as a transitional option between the standard 9.7 diagonal and the huge 12.9. In terms of characteristics, it completely copies the older iPad Pro 2017, only it plays a little quieter.

The display, no joke, is one of the best on the market today: calibrated to the DCI-P3 standard, supports True Tone dynamic color temperature changes and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The cocktail is phenomenal, but it hits you hard on the head if you look at the cost of this pleasure.

On the other hand, the device is powered by a 6-core Apple A10X Fusion with 4 GB of RAM and an 8134 mAh battery, and the storage capacity here reaches a cosmic 512 GB, which cannot be cheap.

The proprietary Apple Pencil stylus was clamped, as was fast charging. Although they cost only a few thousand rubles, which is not much compared to the carcass itself.

Yes, we know that the disadvantages seem far-fetched, but it is precisely for the attention to detail that many people fell in love with Apple, and that is why the reaction is so violent. The model is really great if you work with graphics professionally.

The only representative of the top on Windows 10 and right away in third place. Moreover, the model comes with full-fledged Intel Core processors. In the maximum configuration, you can purchase a device based on the Core i7-6650U with 16 GB of RAM and a terabyte of storage. True, this pleasure will be expensive.

Design without a hint of frills. At the same time, the tablet looks expensive and pretentious. Maybe it's the magic of chopped edges, or maybe Microsoft hasn't shown anything really worthwhile for a long time.

The 12.3" PixelSence display is just as well-calibrated as the iPad Pro's. It may be a little worse, but only a seasoned designer who has eaten the dog at the combination of colors and shades in Photoshop will notice this. But the resolution of 2735x1824 is ideal for work.

It's a shame that the stylus, keyboard, mouse and additional hub with connectors are not included in the package, and the proprietary magnetic charging connector will have to be treasured, because a new one is expensive.

This device is 100% suitable for professional tasks, but watching movies on such a device will be problematic due to the 3:2 aspect ratio. For home use, we recommend other models from the list that run on Android.
