Well, it’s impossible to describe all its advantages, let’s start with the cool screen. Yes, not retina, as many expected, but it is still great, somewhat better than the first iPad due to viewing angles and contrast. New processor The A5 shows simply excellent results: power and runtime. You can play heavy games and it will hold a charge, as expected, for 10 hours. I can't help but notice new design, fits very well in the hands, it is light and at the same time round, it feels like an extension of the hand. A huge range of software, from games to serious applications, like GarageBand and the iWork package. Anyone will find a use for it. Smart Cover looks cool, but in reality it is a very useless thing, but still protects the screen, just a little. Great welcome cellular communications, even in the subway takes in

performance, operating time, quality, invulnerable to viruses, design, weight, 3G

I use both the first and second iPad. In principle, I see two main advantages for myself: - the weight of the device has become just a fairy tale, after the first it is very noticeable. - and speed in Safari, if in the first constant reboot page, after leaving the tab, then everything is fine. Otherwise, I don’t see any fundamental difference; I consider the camera a pampering device, since its quality is still just quiet horror.

First of all, I think that ignoring innovations is at least stupid. Having bought a tablet, I immediately bought an Internet mini SIM card for 400 rubles per month - and I enjoy full online access. I wanted to do a jailbreak - I spent the whole day reading how to install it - I realized that a new one for my version had not yet been released - and the next day I went App Store and pumped up everything free - there’s enough for now. It's nice that by installing iBooks you can download files to your tablet PDF format I really need it for work. At the time of purchasing the tablet, I already had an iPhone and an iPod nano. so it was a conscious choice. I tried SAMSUNG - I didn’t really like it. When I bought it, I was in cultural shock - how everything was thought out - I couldn’t even believe that it was all really so convenient down to the smallest detail. I also bought a pen for the tablet, but I don’t use it (I was thinking about making a pen

Great design, performance, super screen. As a mobile device it is simply irreplaceable. It is very convenient to read books from it. I was especially pleased with the interactive books for children. And in general, the number of children's educational applications is amazing. Inexpensive programs and games (having downloaded a total of about 200 applications, I spent about 30 USD)

I’ve never seen a better screen in my life) - beautiful, stylish, modern - ideal for daily use (Internet, mail, movies, viewing and displaying photos) - special pleasure from playing various games on the iPad (primarily from the control process) - fast Internet - wonderful long-lasting battery (mine lasts much more than the stated 10 hours) - heaps interesting applications in the app store - mobile (light, thin)

There are a lot of pluses, it’s quicker to list the minuses.

As always, apple loves design, but they succeeded! The new “crust” is simply gorgeous! In general, I don’t want to copy all of the above, so I’ll only add that there are no global changes, and there wasn’t much excitement in our markets either

The battery of course in this device is excellent, the touchscreen works great, the assembly is also fine, despite the fact that a day after the purchase my HOME button broke and I had to wait for the official release of the device in Russia, after which it was accepted for exchange, and that’s it All.

After android it’s a lot of unpleasant paid applications in the app store (Still no jail). iTunes takes some getting used to. smartcover does not attach to the tablet with reverse side, so it’s not very convenient on the go (however, this is a quibble - it’s still more convenient than the first pad). It’s a shame that there is still no Skype (only iPhone).

There are some shortcomings, but they can be corrected by jailbreaking.
You can't make calls, but this can be fixed by installing PhoneItiPad from the CD.
The link to tuna can also be removed with a tweak from the cydia - PWNtunes.
You can send and receive SMS with the SwirlySMS tweak.
Its capabilities can be constantly expanded, but this is only possible with jailbreak...

camera. (but, you see, it’s more convenient and smarter to take pictures with a phone or camera) for Skype or Facetime it’s quite enough

What is somewhat annoying is the bevels and placement of the buttons. This is especially noticeable if you constantly take first or second iPad. If on the first one the finger finds the button itself, then on the iPad2 you still have to get there. Although, if I only used one, I would probably get used to it.
Camera - it’s clear that this is for Facetime, but they could do something better. The quality of the photos is simply not good.

The camera is somehow not very good - the pixels sometimes creep.
I need time to restructure my brain for a new approach to the tablet (it took me 2 days and one night - I couldn’t tear myself away from it)

Closed file system. It's very difficult to get used to it.
    Binding to one computer.
It is difficult to download some files from the Internet.
Those who don’t want to spend another month after purchasing to set up the device for full operation should not buy an iPad. Because for each action you will have to look for a separate application.

Starts to discharge much faster when working on 3g (much faster than when watching a movie or game)
    - it needs to be configured to make it easy to work with all applications

There is nowhere to plug in a flash drive, lack of flash and meager equipment... That's probably all.

The camera is certainly not so great and what was shown on the website as being of perfect quality is a lie.
It’s a pity that the screen can quickly get scratched, but I think for those who have a camera, this is not a problem.

CPU

Apple A5 processor with clock frequency 1 GHz, dual-core, but that doesn’t tell us anything, does it? The difference can only be seen.

I can say that when comparing the iPad and iPad 2 head-to-head, Safari works much faster on the latter; for many, this is the main tool. Games launch faster. Switching between applications and using multitasking occurs faster. That is, you don’t even need to convince yourself - the difference can be seen with the naked eye.

For those who like to play, there is also good news, there is now a gyroscope, it’s very cool to drive races.

Memory

Or 16 GB, or 32 GB, or 64 GB, everything is simple here - the more, the better. Watch TV series. Or store music. Who likes what more?

By the way, the sound quality compared to first iPad has not changed, I tried listening with Monster Turbine, everything is very similar.

Display

The display diagonal is 9.7 inches, resolution 1024 x 768 pixels, the impressions are only positive.

Here some problem arose with the backlight at the bottom - everything was fine on the device in question. Excellent viewing angles, the screen is bright, juicy, equally suitable for gaming and browsing the Internet.

By the way, about these pages. I tried to watch YouTube videos, and an error appeared from time to time, something like “You do not have enough rights.” It seems simple task, but some problems.

Control

Everything is the same, the volume buttons and the lever on the end, you can program its action in the menu, this is either turning off the sound or disabling automatic image rotation.

The button under the display has become softer, although this is probably just my imagination. The button on the top left remained in place, it was “pulled out” from the case, and is convenient to use.

The touch display is excellent; I have not yet seen a single tablet that is so easy to use.

Cameras

Added cameras on the front and rear panels, you can do a lot of things. First, use cameras for Facetime. The application icon is located on the desktop, working with it is very simple, you can simply add contacts - no problem.

To call you need Wi-Fi connection. You can see how the program works in our video. You shouldn't wait for the crystal frequency, that's for sure. As with the iPhone 4, it is possible to switch camera views.

Another program for pampering is Photobooth, coming soon to Facebook and others social networks there will probably be a ton of profile photos taken with it. The point is that you can choose any funny effect, take a photo - a self-portrait and immediately send it somewhere.

The camera on the back is not very good, the pictures are so-so. The video shoots well, the resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels.

Geotags are supported and focusing on an object you specify is possible.

Nutrition

The stated operating time is about ten hours when using a browser with a Wi-Fi connection. In any case, have iPad time The work is good, I haven’t heard anyone find fault with this yet. It seems like the screen is huge, and the processor is now dual-core, but the gadget works for a long time. Which is good news.

Communications

As you can see, the MTS SIM card was quickly recognized; let me remind you again - no unlocking is needed for the iPad. The Wi-Fi version looks very attractive for iPhone owners 3Gs and iPhone 4, because in iOS versions 4.3 there was a thing called “Personal Access Point”.

I will write about this separately. But, in my opinion, if you are going to take it, then take the version with 3G. Unlike the Wi-Fi version, there is a digital compass (works in Google Maps, for example), aGPS.

You can connect everything to the TV, one more accessory for the device and an extra thirty dollars for you. I mean, you'll have to spend money on this adapter. It is curious how popular this feature will be, how many iPad owners will want to connect their tablet to the TV. It would be interesting to hear opinions on the forum.

There are no problems connecting to access points; Bluetooth works with a regular or stereo headset without any problems.

Conclusions

The following goals have been achieved. The entire civilized world is discussing again new tablet Apple. Tablets, it seems, are only made by Apple. All movements of competitors are blocked by a trump card, because any news about Motorola XOOM or new products from Samsung is blocked by a wave of everything about iPad 2.

For the company, I repeat, it was important to consolidate success, and it is absolutely clear that we are not having a revolution here, but an evolution, but this is enough to maintain interest. Will the iPad 2 be in demand? Yes.

Should you upgrade your first iPad to an iPad 2? Only if you need cameras, a smaller body, speed - in my opinion, all this is not a reason to run to the store. You can use FaceTime on iPhone 4, the rest is not critical.

But, as practice shows, the arguments of reason often mean absolutely nothing to the consumer. We are all children. We all play with toys. Only they, forgive the banality, become more expensive over time. Apple employs real toy masters who are capable of delighting and delighting us endlessly - and I personally see further proof of their skill, right in the palm of my hand.
