This gadget was purchased on August 31, 2012 in one of the DNS stores in the city of Izhevsk on the occasion of an upcoming birthday at a price of 5,390 rubles (by the way, the price at the time of writing the review had dropped to 4,990 rubles), before that I had been looking for a compromise between price and functionality for a long time and decided to take either Air Tab e71 or Air Tab e72. In general, I went into the store, went up to the stand with tablets, within 5 minutes after inspection I decided to take the E72 model, despite the completely discharged battery, they checked the device by connecting the power supply, checked the equipment (more on that a little later), filled out the documents, and voila - I'm the new owner of a cool tablet.

The selection criteria were as follows: Android 4 on board, a processor of at least 1 GHz, also 1 gig of RAM, 8 gig of internal memory, and a 7-inch screen with a good resolution of 1024 by 600, all this was available in the branded Internet tablet DNS Air Tab e72, plus good bonus in the form of GPS. The device comes in a nice cardboard box with basic characteristics and a cool alien.

The package includes a tablet, a mini-USB charger, a USB cable for host, a cable for connecting to a computer, a cloth for the screen and headphones.

The appearance of the tablet does not shine with an elegant design; there is a black bezel around the display, back cover silver, but I can’t figure out whether it’s plastic or metal (on the store’s website metal is indicated), although judging by the price, I think it’s plastic, on the front panel there is a peephole of the nominal camera for Skype - 0.3 megapixels, that’s all. On the back cover there are slots for speakers and a DNS brand emblem, a reset hole, and the model name and country of origin - China, of course. I haven’t tested it in the sun, but I think it will make me blind.

The device comes with the Android 4.0.3 operating system installed and a minimum set of programs, most importantly Play Market it’s worth it, but what you need - you download via Wi-Fi or others in an accessible way, the native browser was still there, file manager, Mail agent, voice recorder, program for communication "in contact", Yandex maps, navigation from Google. All necessary programs I installed it without problems through the market, I simply threw some of it onto a memory card and installed it through the file manager. All programs work correctly, without brakes, movies are a blast, books are read using Cool Reader, I don’t really play games, but I installed a few for testing, I think gamers will be quite happy with this option. The device is equipped with a GPS module, it picks up satellites in open areas just fine, I installed a couple of navigation programs - everything works great ☺, it recognizes 3G modems immediately without installing additional software (using the example of the MTS 3G modem HUAWEI E171). The battery is 4000 mAh, lasts an average of 3-4 hours.

To sum it all up brief overview, I will say - I am completely satisfied with the device in all respects, I will naturally use all its capabilities. There is nothing special to compare this tablet with yet, I haven’t used much of a similar model from DNS E71, its resolution is less than 800 by 480, there is no GPS, the price is slightly lower, but it undoubtedly has one advantage - a full-fledged USB host and a separate output for the charger . Score 9 points, minus 1 point due to the lack of a separate charging outlet. The device can definitely be recommended to all fans of Android devices, gamers, and car enthusiasts on a limited budget. DNS Airtab E75 | Introduction

Previously, our testing laboratory had already received tablets from the company DNS -,. If the first one was quite good, the second one turned out to be too cut down for reasons of low price. Now we have received another “budget” tablet of the same brand, DNS Airtab E75. Excellent hardware, high-quality screen, light weight and compact size, coupled with a low price, allow us to speak of a direct competitor to IconBit NetTAB Matrix II, the leader among the 7" tablets we have visited. Among the advantages - new system Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, twice the built-in memory. The disadvantages are a slightly smaller battery capacity, a weak camera, lack of mini-HDMI and a longer body.

As can be seen from the parameters, the Airtab E75 tablets are similar to each other in terms of hardware, since they use the same platform. Therefore, when choosing, you should take into account other criteria: the size and type of screen, the presence of the necessary interfaces and connectors, the amount of built-in memory.

There were no problems with movies and music either.

In other areas the tablet didn't perform as well. Users who follow news from the tablet market are becoming more and more demanding, and for many, simply Wi-Fi and a weak camera on their tablet are not enough; they also want support for 3G/4G, built-in Bluetooth module, a decent camera that allows you to take pictures no worse than with a regular camera. In this regard, the DNS Airtab E75 is not encouraging.

Of course, you can come to terms with the tablet’s shortcomings, given the price of about 6.5 thousand rubles. For this money you can only buy a camera or a media player for your TV that allows you to watch movies. When you buy a tablet, even a “budget” one, you get all this at once, as well as the opportunity to play and surf the Internet.

Of course, the DNS AirTab E75 receives a slightly more limited set of functions than usual, for example, the absence of HDMI, but it can be recommended as a compact media player for watching movies and listening to music. In addition, the tablet can be used for reading, although an E-Ink book is still preferable. In general, although the DNS Airtab E75 tablet did not fully satisfy us, in the future it may become a good alternative to the same e-readers with a TFT screen, which are more expensive but provide less functionality.
