  • Next, carefully enter all the data (country of residence, date of birth), agree to the provisions of the license agreement and click on the big button.

Conclusion

So, the Origin app is official software product from Electronic Arts (a famous publisher of computer games).

Origin has very interesting functionality and allows gamers to get the most out of their games.

The advantages of the program include such options as a cooperative game mode, voice and text communication with other players, the possibility of conducting and much more.

The only shortcomings that can be noted are that frequent updates applications. Even the World of Tanks launcher is not updated that often.

But this small minus can be forgiven, since it is not particularly noticeable against the background of the advantages.

Welcome to EA! We'll now walk you through how to create a new EA Account so you can start playing.

There are several ways to create a new account:

Origin Client

EA.com

Click on little man in the main menu and select "Registration".

When you sign up for a new EA Account, we'll need some information from you to get to know you better.

We will ask you to provide the following information:

  • email address so that we can contact you;
    • Tip: It is recommended to use an email address that you can always access. Instead of using a private email service provider that is provided by school or work, it is better to use free service like Yahoo or Gmail. Recovering an account or password on these services is also much easier.
  • public identifier, because that's how you're known at Origin, ea.com, and our Answers HQ forums. If you get tired of it, you can change it;
    • Want to change your EA ID another time? .
  • password so that you can log into your account - remember it and keep it in a safe place. We care about the security of your account;
  • country of residence to know at a glance what's available in your area;
  • date of birth to make sure you are old enough to play all of our games.

Like other games, we have our own set of rules. Review the EA Rules to help you and other players have a great time and stay safe while enjoying EA games.

When you create an account, you will need to select a security question. Make sure you are the only one who knows the answer. You'll need this question to change your account information or enable username verification (more on that later).

Verifying your username will help protect your account. We'll send you a verification code when a new device asks you to sign in to your EA Account when using some EA services.

If you have lost your phone or cannot open your email, contact us and select sections "Account Management" And "Unable to login".

You'll be required to enter a verification code when logging into some EA games and services. Besides, this code will also be required if you try to change your account information.

You can choose how to receive the code - via email, text message, phone call or through an authenticator application. Set up multiple ways to receive codes so that each time you sign in, you can choose the method that is most convenient for you to receive your code.

We use this code, along with your password, to verify your identity when you try to sign in to your account from a new or unknown device. If you don't have a password or code, you won't be able to sign in.

If the phone is lost, the authenticator application does not work, and email is not available, backup codes is the only way to sign into your EA account from a new device. You can view and update backup codes on the page "My Account: Security".

  1. On the EA Help website, click "Accounts" and then "Account Security".
  2. If necessary, connect to your EA Account to open the My Account: Security page.
  3. Click "View" next to the "Backup Codes" line.
  4. You will see a list of backup codes. Keep this list in a safe and accessible place.
  5. If you play FIFA, you can request new code after connecting to FIFA Ultimate Team.

Advice: Write down your backup codes and keep them in a safe place so you can always sign in.

First you should go to the website www.origin.com/ru-ru/store/ - the Russian page of the site. There are several buttons at the top line: “Login”, “Registration”, “My Account” and others. To create a personal page, click on the “Registration” button.

Filling out the form

In the window that opens, you only need to enter your email address registered in any service. Then click the "Next" button. Now you need to fill out several fields of the questionnaire. The most important thing is to choose an Origin ID, since this is what will be displayed to friends and opponents in the game. When you enter the selected nickname, click on another field of the profile to find out whether such ID is available or not. It is important that the inscription in green font appears under the field: “This ID is available.” After this, you need to come up with and enter a password, and then repeat the entry. Be sure to select a security question and answer so you can regain access to your account if you forget your password. Otherwise, it will be a shame to lose so much effort, for example, on arranging a house in The Sims, and because of the loss of the password, start all over again.

You will also need to indicate the country in which you live and your date of birth. Below you must enter the letters from the picture in the field, and also indicate whether you want to receive the company's newsletter. Please check the box indicating that you accept EA's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. After filling in all fields, click “Next”. Now you can add your real first and last name to your profile, and also upload a photo.

Account access

Now the account is registered, and the system will again transfer you to home page Origin. Here you can use your account for any games from Electronic Arts, for example, Battlefield, Sims, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, Dragon Age 2, etc. After registering, the Origin website will not ask for confirmation email address, for which you are registering an account, so be very careful when filling out this field so as not to activate the page in someone else’s mailbox.

Electronic Arts reserves the right to delete an account that has been inactive for 24 months.

Origin has changed several names over the past 5 years. At first the service was called EA Downloader, then it was renamed EA Store. It is worth noting that all accounts created on any of these resources have currently been transferred to Origin and are fully functional.
